Established in 1895 through the Catholic Order of Saint Benedict, the Benedictine university is just one of 18 Benedictine colleges and universities in the usa and Canada, and also the only one west from the Rocky Mountains.

It's amazing how many great universities you will find in this country that remain relatively unknown due to their size and population. Maybe even less known are the personnel who teach the students.
