The Hans Christian Anderson fairy tale is brought to life. A toymaker tinkers away in his shop, and drops one of the tin soldiers he is making. As he heads on to bed after a long night of toymaking, all the toys in his shop come to life, including some familiar faces such as Laurel and Hardy, Groucho Marx, and a toy resembling Koko the Clown from early Fleischer cartoons.
